If you guys are in the local Facebook groups surrounding Russellville, AR, then you should be familiar with Alejandro Guerra being tagged in MANY posts regarding auto mechanical work. I finally decided to take a major step in growing my business! Let me tell you how it all started.
As you read on the main page, my business name used to be Alejandro's Mobile Mechanic Services until early 2026.
Back in 2020, I was finally ready to leave my hometown, Dumas AR, with a population of 4,000 people. I applied and got accepted for a one bedroom apartment here in Russellville.
Why Russellville? Because when i was in High School, I came to ATU of Russellville to catch up on some credits that required me to graduate. I was, and am absolutely brilliant at certain things or subjects that I actually care about, but if I didn't like it, I couldn't bring myself to focus on that subject/class for ANYTHING until it was close to the end of the year when I realized that there was a pretty vivid future where I wasn't going to graduate💀 I worked and studied my rear-end off and ended up barely making it by, thanks to ATU of Russellville!
During my first time here in Russellville, I really liked the town and I wanted to visit again just for kicks. Well, After moving here in 2020, I worked at Conagra for over a year and was already sick of working even though I was just 22. I was putting in 50+ hours a week for over a year but the paychecks looked so good🤑Shortly after June of 2021, I left Conagra because I was just burnt out. While I was in between jobs, my neighbor was telling me that he needed some work done on his car and asked if I knew any mechanic shops. I told him that I was pretty familiar with vehicles and that I could possibly take care of him for cheap. Well, I ended up working for him and took care of his vehicle issues. He did tell me that I was really fast and saved him a lot of money. Then he apparently told some of his friends that I was cheap, great and fast so I ended up getting a few of calls that same week, then their friends told their other friends and ended up paying my bills for that month. When I got caught up, I made some ads on Facebook for Mobile Mechanic and had a lot of inquiries which turned into jobs and it basically turned from a side gig, to a full time career.
After years of procrastination, I was finally brave enough to make my very first website and advertisement on the actual internet outside of Facebook!
I have been messing with vehicles since I was a kid. One day when i was about 10-ish, my dad asked me to come and help him out with something on his truck. Guess what the help was? Yep, it was holding a flash light and getting yelled at for not holding it correctly💀 Well, I took a huge interest in watching what he was doing and decided to get my hands dirty and ended up experimenting with lawnmower engines and old miscellaneous engines. I took many old engines apart to see how they were built and how things worked and even got some running. What i discovered? That damn near all engines work the exact same, just built differently! All engines have valves and pistons. They all have coils and spark plugs. They all used spark, air and gas to make that loud boom which turns over the engine again and again. I even helped my dad with his old 1997 Silverado 3500 6.5 Turbo Diesel and understood that his engine worked almost the same way even though it was completely different. I believe that simple interest and curiosity made me truly understand engines very, very well at a very young age!
